Manchester United IPO - SGX
Manchester United (a football club or depending where you stay, soccer club) was considering to do an IPO either in Singapore or Hong Kong and decided to with Singapore. A company with a lot of debt no doubt. It seems the owners want this IPO to help them with their cashflow. One thing they have is the brand name and they hope to tap the investors in Asia as this is where their fan base is growing. So if they get the approval from SGX, will it be a good buy and participate in the IPO? I don't know. I will wait 200 days after the first trading day of the stock to decide. We shall see whether there is strength to this stock.
